Derek Worley

Derek has spent his life loving the game of baseball. Some years after college ball he made a decision to start coaching. He is now in his 16th year of coaching in north Texas. Over this time he has coached and mentored hundreds of athletes and seen dozens of his players reach the college level. His focus has always been developing and preparing baseball players through organized and focused practices, in game situations, lessons, and camps. But most importantly Derek enjoys mentoring young men in making good decisions and in life understanding the IMPACT a coach can have on his athletes.

He has been married for 21 years and has three children. His two sons, Jeffrey and Noah, are currently playing college baseball and his daughter, Erin, plans to study nursing when she graduates from high school in 2020. Derek’s prayer for his children has always been that they know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and that they pursue Him all of their lives. Because when this life is over it will be the only thing that truly matters.
