Why I am at Impact Baseball Club:

“Baseball guys” are a dime a dozen.  You can go anywhere and find outstanding baseball coaches and teachers- every program can truthfully claim that.  Placing ballplayers at the next level is also something that many organizations can and do produce.  Impact Baseball Club does both of those things at a high level as well.  HOWEVER, what separates IBC from the rest is their commitment to player develop and baseball IQ and their philosophy and approach to developing men.  Teaching character and integrity through foundational biblical principles.  Our goal is to deliver into society strong spiritual men that love Christ, are influencers, and great husbands and fathers who IMPACT the world through their example.

I am at Impact Baseball Club for those reasons and for the leadership that Derek exhibits and demands from ALL of his coaches.  You can be sure that your son is in good hands both in baseball and more importantly the “man building” aspect.  As a parent I wouldn’t want my son anywhere else.

Coach Ford’s personal information:

Coach Ford lives in Trophy Club with his wife Kathie, their son Forest and daughter Parker.  They have another married son Foster and his wife Alexa who live in Grapevine.  Foster and Parker are both athletes that went through the whole “select” sports arena.  I can sympathize and empathize with you as a parent I can assure you.
